Health Care - Due 1-23

Where is your health insurance going to come from when you get older?  Will the job that you are pursuing have benefits or will you have to buy your own?  What will you do if the job does not provide them?

I don't know where my health insurance will come from but I when I reach age 65 I will be on medicare. I hope the job I have will have benefits but I guess if it doesn't I will have to but my own.

My healthcare needs are a little different than some people. I will have to have life time specialized care but I still have options. I hope that I can get a job that has group insurance because then they really can't refuse me on the plan. If I can't find group insurance then with my health problems I can use the Medcaid program through the state to help me pay for some of my healthcare needs.

When I am older I will get health insurance from Medicare once I reach 65 years of age if it even exits by then. If it does not I don't really know what I will do. I guess I will have to save money through my career to be able to afford it when I'm older. But, before that my job will provide the benefits. I plan on working in a school so they will have the benefits I will need for health insurance. If, by a chance, my job does not provide benefits I will have to save money up for it.

When I am older I plan on getting health insurance from my job. I hope to be working at a hospital so I will most likely have pretty good health insurance. If my job did not supply benefits I would have to find a way to pay for coverage then. I think that if you are working and not getting health insurance that is when you can go to the government for help. When I am 65 or older I would hope Medicare would cover me but at the rates it's going it will probably not be around anymore unless we find a solution. I think by then the government will have another program for elderly people otherwise I will have to save through my career to be able to afford it when I'm older.

When I get a career being a preschool teacher, O'Neill will provide my family and I with health benefits, just as 'regular' teachers in elementary to high school receive. I am so excited to be a preschool teacher for that aspect and the fact that my job will save me and my family money in the long run. Also, I want to add that I feel workers in the farming industry and irrigation industry need to be provided with health care because of the danger of their jobs, regardless of how many people they employ. I feel that every job should offer health care to their employees. (Relating to the campfire discussion and this question)

When I get older and reach the required age to pull from Social Security, I will hopefully have other money saved up to help with any future expenses. I hope that my job will supply some kind of health insurance, I'm sure I will be fine because if it doesn't, there is always the military benefits that come in handy.

I will hopefully have a job that offers me benefits when it comes to health insurance after retirement. I will always have my military benefit that will come in handy if I do not have a job that offers and insurance policy. If my job does not have a plan, I will always put money aside for it and like I stated previously, I can always use my military benefits. But most restaurants and hotels offer these benefits, because they have a risk of injuries, burns.

When I reach the age of 65, I plan to get on Medicare. If Medicare is gone by then, I plan to have a separate bank account, like ROTH, for savings for my retirement. I don't know what my job is going to be for sure, but I will definitely look at the benefits it has to offer. Hopefully their will be some kind of program the government has come up with if Medicare does go down. But I think in the long run, saving money is going to be the best choice.

When I get older and retire my health insurance with come from the government because I will be on medicare. I plan to be self employed so I will not just get benefits that other people may get from their job. I will just have to suck it up and pay for those things myself because I know what I want to do for my job and I know that will not provide me with benefits.

Saying now what type of healthcare I will be on in 2060 is kind of a baseless thing to do. Healthcare is always changing and after reading everything that I've read over it, Medicare is very close on the verge to being bankrupt, so by the time I'd be ready for it, it'll be long gone. All I can say about health insurance for that far into the future is that I'm sure that there will be some other type of program like Medicare to take part it. Since I plan on being an RN or a Nurse Practitioner, yes, insurance is covered through my job. If insurance was not covered in my job, I would purchase my own. Health insurance is very important.

When I get older I plan on getting health insurance through my job. Working in the medical field will provide good health insurance and hopefully I won't have to worry about getting my own. If for some reason my job didn't provide health insurance I would have to find a way to pay for my own coverage. When I am 65 I will hopefully get coverage from Medicare. At the rate it is going now, I don't think Medicare will be around that long. The government will then have to form another program to help out the elderly.

After college, I plan to become a chemical engineer. It is a job that is in demand so I will be able to be pickier on where I want to work. In this aspect, I will most likely find a company that provides health care for me. If my work does not provide it, I will need to find it somewhere like my grandparents do. With my very low immune system, I will need to keep insurance so I can afford the many doctor visits. They are necessary in preventive care. I would like to stick with blue cross blue shield since it has been very good for my family. Once I reach retirement age, I hope there will be a system like Medicare. However I am not betting on it so once I get a job after college I will be putting away for retirement and future health care. I know the value of good health care and I hope I can keep it. I’ve seen how bad it can be for those who truly cannot afford it but make too much to receive government aid. It is sad and heart retching. I’ve also seen friends of mine be kicked off of insurance plans because their parents came down with a disease and was kicked off first chance they could. It is wrong and I wish the government monitored health insurance more. They could set up a program to go to the moon but they can’t even take care of their people back home. Who has the wrong priorities?

I am not 100% sure what I am going to do for a living yet, so I'm not sure if I'll have health insurance with my job or not. If I worked for some kind of big Ag company, they would probably provide health insurance. But if I end up with a job that doesn't have it, I will look into getting the best health insurance I can afford for my family.

As of right now, I plan to go into the Engineering field, with which i will probably get a job with health insurance. If I am unable to secure a job with health insurance, I will probably have to buy some sort of health insurance on my own. Hopefully once I am over 65, I am able to get on the Medicare, but as it looks right now, I don't know if it is a realistic possibility. After I get my college paid off and after I start making money, I plan to put money away into my retirement fund and put more money into another fund to pay for my health insure to cover the costs that medicare would have covered.

I'm not sure what kind of job I'll have in the future, so I don't want to get my hopes up on health benefits. If my job doesn't offer it, then I will shop around for whichever available insurance will be the best deal for myself. I'll also start making my own retirement fund, because I don't want to depend on anyone else doing that for me.

The type of career I am pursuing generally has employers that offer health insurance. I do not plan on being self-employed like my dad, so I will most likely go through my employer for any insurance plans they offer. If my job does not offer them, I will definitely be purchasing an individual policy. Health insurance is something that I feel is very important to have. As for when I am a senior citizen, I really don't know. I might have to work more that seniors do now, but I have faith that our government will do their best to help ease the burden. Maybe there will be another type of system like medicare to provide aid to the older generations. If not, then I will just have to work until I save enough to comfortably retire. I will try and put away money every month after college to start my retirement fund.

Once I am a teacher, I am hopeful that my school district offers health care for my family and myself. Most school districts cover your health and dental insurance, which is a really nice benefit of being a teacher. However, if my school district does not offer health insurance, I will most definitely purchase my own private insurance. Having health insurance is vital to have in a persons life. When I am a senior citizen I am not really sure what my plans are as of yet. With Medicare being in a financial crisis as it is now, I may have to work more then the average citizen does now. I do believe though that we will get these differences figured out and that I will be able to retire comfortably. This summer I am going to start putting a sum of my pay checks into a private account for my retirement fund.

Right now, I'm not completely sure what I'm going to do for a living. I hope that I will be able to receive health benefits from my job, but I suppose if I cannot, I will have to find my own insurance. When I'm older I hope to get my insurance from Medicare and if Medicare goes bankrupt then I guess I will have to find another form of insurance.

When I get older, hopefully my insurance will come from Medicare. After learning more about it though, I feel as if it will not be around for very much longer. If it is no longer around I will have to start saving money so I will have some way to pay for my medical bills. I plan on being a teacher, so there will probably be health benefits with that job .

When I'm older I'm going to have to pay for my own insurance because I plan on having my own business. So If health insurance comes with my job it would have to be right out of my pocket because either way I'll have to pay for it.

I plan on going into an Agribusiness related field, and if the company I work for doesn't provide health insurance for employees, I will definitely buy my own coverage. I think that health insurance is very important for people to have. It seems to me like Medicare is going to be bankrupt by the time I am 65 or older, so I will probably start a retirement fund of my own to help with the costs when I am that age. I think it is very important to start planning for your future right away.

When I am older, if I do become a P.A., then my health insurance will be covered by my job. My job will have benefits for me and my family. For some reason that my job did not provide health insurance I would purchase private insurance. When I become of age for retirement I will receive money from Medicare, a system that I intend to pay into so I can receive it's benefits.

I suppose my health insurance will come from either a private insurance company, or ,if I'm really poor, Medicaid. The job I will be pursuing will most likely require me to get my own insurance if I only employ myself.

Carl M. said...

I plan on being a teacher, so I will try to get a job in a school district with an insurance plan that is sufficient with my medical needs. If I have a job with non-sufficient insurance, I will have to look at private companies, such as Aflac, State Farm, or other local options. If my job does not have a sufficient plan, the insurance issue might get complicated. I will try to find a school with a good package and hope for the best.

Kyle F said...

I will look around and try to get the best deals on health insurance. I will buy my own health insurance. Why? Because I will be self-employed later on in my life and the government is probably going to raise the insurance for the big businesses that offer it. Therefore the businesses won’t be able to afford the cost of it for all the employees. That will make the people buy health insurance or go without it like some people do.

Matt M. said...

I plan on having a job with health benefits while searching. If that option is not available I will definitely buy my own insurance. It would definitely be nice to have those benefits provided for me, but sometimes you just have to take care of yourself.

I plan on getting a job that has a retirement plan to start preparing for my retirement. I think that Medicare is going to be long gone before I am of age to retire so I am going to put as much money away as I can. I think that it would be a good idea to put about two hundred dollars a month away in a ROTH just as an extra step. I think that it will be most beneficial for me to put as much money as possible away as I grow older. It is highly unlikely that I will retire at age 65 because I will have nothing else to do.

I do not know where I'm getting my health insurance once I get older. I am really hoping that the job I want to pursue will have benefits, but if I start my own business I will have to provide health insurance to myself and to the workers. If my job does not have the health insurance benefits I would try to see if there are similar jobs like I want that provides health insurance then I will work there.

When I retire I wont be able to count on Medicare because by that time it will be long gone. I hope to get a job that will have benefits. If this doesn't happen I will just have to save money.

When I get older I am planning on being on medicare. I was hoping the job that I have will have great benefits to offer me. If my job doesn't offer me benefits, I will try to buy them on my own. To do that I will start saving up my money.

My health insurance will be coming from the single payer system in Canada, as I am moving there. After I move back to Montana, I would be purchasing my own, as well as providing insurance for the people who might work for me. I also want to own a bakery, so I will buy other types of insurance too. Since I'm the owner of the job I would like to pursue, I'll be providing my own.

Stephanie B. said...

Right now, because of my past, I have Medicaid. It will hopefully be with me for a long time. I'm hoping that my job will supply me with good benefits, Health Insurance being one of them. If my job in the future doesn't provide them, then I will still have Medicaid to back me up. If for some reason, Medicaid doesn't continue to cover my expenses, I will have to purchase my own, but hopefully it won't do that.

After I am no longer able to receive health care through my parents (age 19.... next year..), I will have to stay healthy and be careful until I get a job with benefits, or buy my own! I don't imagine there are commonly a whole lot of jobs out there that will provide health care if they are not a major job not requiring any special knowledge, education, or experience. If I do become a teacher, I'm sure there will be benefits that come from that. If, for some reason, there were not, or I pursued a career without them, I would obviously buy my own until I retire. By the time I retire, Medicare will most likely be bankrupt, so I will hopefully pick up on another type of health care the government will come up with by then. I will be saving throughout my career in case all else fails!

When I am older I plan to have a career that provides health care. As a biochemist, any employer I could have would most likely provide health care for me. I will probably be on Medicare after I retire, or I will have a retirement fund to pay for my own insurance if need be.

Right now I am on Kid's Connection til I turn 19. That is just a little over two years from now. That gives me just a little bit more time to start looking for insurance while I'm going to college. Right now I'm working at McDonald's and they don't offer health insurance, but while I'm in college I'll transfer to the one in Wayne. I will have my health insurance until I enroll for my second year there. That's when I will be needing a different health insurance. The way I've been sick lately really makes me thankful I have insurance at the moment. After I graduate college, I'll be looking for a job as a teacher and when offered that job, I will more than likely be offered health insurance with the job. After I retire roughly around the age of 65, I will be put on Medicare. I will hopefully be covered with great health insurance throughout my life. I will keep saving money though just in case!

After I turn 26 I will hopefully have a job that provides me with healthcare. That is the ultimate goal anyways. If I do not have a job that provides healthcare than I guess the only choice is to go out and buy my own. But theoretically Obama will have his way and we won't have to pay for health insurance right? Right?....I guess I'll just cross that road when I come to it!

When I start my career as a Preschool Teacher, my family and I will be given benefits through my job. Since I know that Medicare is most likely not an option when I turn 65 I have decided to open a retirement fund through Ozarks not long after I turn 18. I know this is the best option for me so I can retire and not have to worry about money.
